Somoene else showed me this video and I’m not sure what to make of it. I like the style, the music the “getting out there” message yet it makes me uneasy. I like the shift of focus from progarmmes and events to personal mission. Yet, I think it makes me uneasy because it never mentions the cross. It’s very lovely to have hearts lighting up but how does that happen? I grasp the image of the church with the shutters down, so many churches can be like that, but don’t we need to be gathered to Christ and taught by him before we can be sent? I know the video can’t say everything but the message is not quite on-beam, in my humble opinion. Shame, it is so well produced.
